The Devine Victory Of Love

The title of our talk for this morning is the Divine Victory of Love.

That means that we've gotten to that part of the Qabalistic Tree of Life called Victory.

And Victory, as you see before you, is the green Sephirah. Sephirah meaning emanation or sphere of activity of consciousness by emanation it's emanation of the consciousness of the one mind or the one being the one god we have attempted to give certain important highlights dealing with the qabalistic tree of life starting from behind soft hour which is it means limitless light and refers to the absolute we spoke about before time began which you you can imagine how well that lends itself to speak but I think we managed to give you some inkling of a state of pure being that could and would exist before you have a new cycle of movement the movement indicating a new a new or the latest outpouring of a specialized expression of the creativity of God. And the moment we start speaking about the outpourings, we're dealing with areas that our minds are more easily able to, at least an area that the mind can touch in some way, even though we may not yet comprehend levels that vast.

We're able to sense we're able to touch we are even sometimes able to experience rather deeply certain aspects of these higher levels when we have prepared ourselves for it when we planted the seeds as we do in the training we receive here in the secret wisdom and when we have done the things necessary to keep the seeds properly watered with the proper states of consciousness in good health with the proper nourishment meaning the kind of thinking feeling the spiritual disciplines that we've gone in for in order to bring about the final sprouting of enlarged and enhanced states of consciousness awareness which means our own evolution the expansion of our own evolutionary being as a part of the expansion and evolution of all of life so we attempted to speak about ideas relating to the absolute then with the crown and number one we tried to show the divine as being in a state of this pure beingness that is bringing together an area of expression or an act of will starting to take place in this gathering together an area of self-expression within the selfhood of that one self the indivisible with number two on the qabalistic tree of life we tried to indicate that this one selfhood having perfect memory because memory is one of the attributes of that whole side of the tree having perfect memory of what it has been what it is and even what it will be that may sound strange to have memory of that but in the divine levels one can and does that because of this perfect memory and knowledge of its own wisdom the next state of projection is able to take place which brings us to the number three assigned to the Cosmic Mother where the understanding and the reception of the seed for the next stage is put put into activity so that we have what you might call the beginning of separation, but a separation that has to do with the development of consciousness which can weigh and measure, know this and that. I always like to remind you of that portion of the Bible where Yod-Heh-Vah-Heh Elohim says now Adam man is like us and that like us has to do with has having the power to know good and evil or the power to know the pair of opposites this power to know the pair of opposites this power to know good and evil is a power then that Adam has to learn how to handle and that's why it becomes essential to kick him out of the garden you understand or by him of course you want to remember this isn't anything separate from the one life this would be the one life or the cosmic mind expressing in its area or level of of creativity through the use of the principle of separation, which is not real, illusionary, but experienceable in such a way that it appears real to minds that are deluded by the illusion from then this outpouring of the beginnings of individuality because this is what the Cosmic Mother would do within the womb of the oneself there is the process developed and put into operation which grows individuality and remember until man or the divine Adam has until man has gone through the various growth processes the involutionary and then evolutionary stages the full development of individuality cannot remotely be said to have taken place yet it's a process of becoming rather than something that is all at once the moment we step away from before time began and we go into this activity that deals with memory and with divine desire or divine plan which we we also call divine will.

You then have these principles that are in operation automatically from the self-knowledge the divine has of its own being and the laws of its being.

We therefore go on to the fourth Sephirah, which has not only perfect memory of its past cycles, but because of this perfect memory it also has memory of everything that we think is personal memory because our personal memory is a specialized or individualized aspect of the divine memory. Having this and also having this cosmic mind see itself and know itself as having a plan a divine plan or will that is benevolent you know God said it is good for each day of creation this is the principle shown the whole benevolence of this plan that when brought to its perfection brings about the manifestation of the kingdom of heaven on earth amongst the many things that we're looking forward to we have then the development also that follows on the red sephirah severity where the perfect justice is recognized by consciousness and takes place that is the balancing of all actions and reactions to serve evolution and the service of this action and reaction for evolution is what some people are afraid of and therefore there's the word fear assigned to that portion of the sphere of consciousness and then we have also the driving will of God assigned to this portion of the tree, but this driving will of God as being seen to be an inexorable justice that is bringing about the development of the benevolent divine plan.

This is a very important thing to recognize because we always have to deal with these pairs of opposites to see that one is weighed against the other as consciousness grows and learns how to pick and choose and become ever more a benevolent and enhanced expression individualized and glorified in relation to its divine beginnings and in relation to the inevitable destiny of becoming aware of its divine accomplishments when it accomplishes its full evolutionary task, which is what we're all doing right now. From that we go to beauty and if you will remember the entire central pillar is assigned to beauty that particular aspect of the divine movement of consciousness is the aspect that is also assigned to the heavenly Adam to generic humanity, Adam, A-D-A-M, and to the Redeemer. That's when Heavenly Adam becomes Redeemer of the portions of being that went off into the erroneous interpretations of what is involved or what has been involved due to the eating of the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil.

You have your justice taking place where Adam starts to learn more and more what he, she has to do in order to develop the fullness of the divine plan. So from being an infant, a firstborn, you might say, because that's what the divinely begotten is. That's us.

A firstborn, we really have to get to a point in our evolution where we become a twice-born.

You know, ye shall no wise enter the kingdom of heaven except ye be born again. There was a statement by that master Qabalist, Rabbi Jesus of Nazareth, who was trained in this very self-same wisdom, remember. Always bear in mind that everything Jesus was he was as a result of the training that he received in this tradition and it has been historically proven at this point if you accept the findings of the Dead Sea Scrolls but we won't go into that at the moment I like to talk about that around Christmas time and around Easter time and whatever other time seems important for other reasons so when we are still the firstborn ignorant undeveloped immature we're going to get into all kinds of troubles which we do and so the expression of beauty doesn't seem to be be obvious although the parent sees the beauty because the parent divine parent said it is good if you will recall just as you and I say it is good when we give birth to a child and others might think that a newborn child looks like a wrinkled onion or more like a wrinkled beet sometimes you know with a great many disfigurements around the skin my goodness my daughter bonnie when I first saw her I was so horrified I thought poor child poor child poor child my heart just went out in compassion she looked so I was going to say god awful but it can't be god awful she looked so devil awful whichever way you want to put it she certainly was not a beautiful newborn but by day three isn't that nice that three days that's symbolic by day three she was the most beautiful girl baby that God ever had of course that was my scientific objective conclusion because it's easily seen so as firstborns we go through many trials many tribulations we are subject to the repercussions of our immaturities we cannot understand them we may fight we may struggle we have tantrums without any doubt still having entered the path of discipleship having entered the path of return in the secret wisdom of israel we are brought to a point where we start to see that to become twice born is going to take a bit of doing and that doing is going to have to be taken by ourselves each and every one of us as individualized aspects or expressions of this one life so then that brings us to that next point on the tree called victory because you see beauty severity and mercy are what you might consider the triune aspect of the divine adam Adam, just like the crown, wisdom, and understanding are the supernal triad which express that level of consciousness that we may call the level of divine, non-manifest.

That's why in the Secret Wisdom we always talk about crossing the abyss between that supernal triad misunderstood incidentally by traditional organized religion you give people partial truths and if they haven't evolved an ability to develop the whole thing they come out with some pretty strange monsters as the children of the partial truth always like to remind you what Voltaire said said, when people believe in absurdities, they commit atrocities. And so partial truths, when we believe in them so blindly, will, of course, open us up to the kind of energies that lend themselves to pretty monstrous conduct, just like the Crusades and all of the killings and slaughterings, the persecutions that took place in the name of that gentle master Qabalist, the Rabbi Jesus of Nazareth. Partial truth.

The real truth being that the heavenly Adam assigned to beauty, also called the firstborn, which is the begotten, is part of that triune being that is a very special triangle. If you see the black Sephirah understanding as the cosmic mother, which it is, the divine word of power assigned to it is the word of power that means cosmic mother or the womb of the divine mother. And if you see wisdom assigned to the cosmic father, which it is, the word of power, or Yod-Heh-Vah-Heh is assigned to it, plus the Qabalistic Ab, the father, with understanding, it's Ayamah, the mother. And it also means, amongst other things, the sacred, holy spirit of the divine she of God, that portion of God which is the divine she.

And they coexist. Exist one does not exist without the other this is basic to any understanding of the route we have to take the paths of return we have to know and try and travel in order to attain liberation from our illusions delusions liberation from agonies and pains and all of the host of hells that do exist when we commit the atrocities because we believe in nonsense and worth the nonsense.

But then beauty, remember, is also called ben. That's the Hebrew word for son. It really means begotten or offspring. So that you can see, if you will look at that, you'll see a large triangle there, which could be called God the Father, God the Mother, and offspring of God the Son. Misunderstood, misinterpreted, misused, since the truth of the matter is that the firstborn, you know, when Qabalah gives several Qabalistic words of power to an area and every single Sephirah has more than one, it is a way of training the mind to correlate, to keep itself focused within a framework that will hold the mind inviolate and pure, where the mind will see reality instead of going off into the nonsense that has been inculcated into the mass mind of man for as long as man has been unevolved enough to accept the nonsense. Then the repercussions from the nonsense, of course, do grow us, we must admit, until finally we become ready to see the truth.

So you see, the divine Adam, A-D-A-M, being the first born and being unable to yet walk talk you know what infant can you have to learn how to conduct yourself as a an adult by becoming an adult and that takes growth so your firstborn has to grow adam or generic humanity has to grow up growing up means becoming spiritually mature and knowing how to conduct yourself as a spiritually mature creature that's why redeemer is one of the words given to that aspect adam beauty redeemer also the anointed that's when every one of us becomes a redeemer we become the anointed because that makes us more the the ruler of ourselves and our environment. When you rule your animal nature and the lower portions of the self, to the degree you gain this rulership, to that degree do you develop more and more of the capacity to be the king, as I said, because a king is a ruler.

All of these words have to be seen as being not just words of power for the sake of having a word of power to chant. But these are all words of power that with the training you receive here through your lessons, through the various, through the classwork, through the talks, that help you to gain ever more awareness of what your destiny is and how to become a redeemer of consciousness itself. Because I, if I be lifted up, lift all others unto myself you see so it is true we have a god the father a god the mother a god the offspring but that god the offspring is you all of you the minute we have the humanity level of consciousness we have that which has the capacity to grow up into being the incarnation of love, redeemerhood, rulership, the power to make images that express the true spiritual order. So the image-making power, remember, is also assigned to beauty. And that image-making power expresses itself in the rest of the sefiroth below beauty victory splendor foundation and kingdom they're also called the elemental aspects of personality they're also called the personality attributes and it is the begotten that actually creates and projects the personality in other words you as the begotten have created and projected this personality that you have which includes what it includes victory that's your desire nature and your love nature it includes splendor that's your intellectual nature your analytical discerning nature of the personality it includes foundation that's your subconsciousness and all the patterns thought forms and so on that your subconsciousness holds both personal and from the mind of Adam or the mind of man and from the genetics.

We've been talking more about that on Thursday nights right now. And it includes your vehicle, which is Malkuth. Now these elements are both personal and cosmic. Remember, the Qabalistic tree of life can be said to represent the entire universe the entire universe physically speaking as well as the universe that you are individually your physical body with its physical environment is also your personal universe or the universe of your personality and the evolution of your Your consciousness determines how little or how big your universe is, doesn't it? Some people have a universe that's narrowed to a few neighbors that they talk against and a few bits of work that they complain about.

And that just about takes care of it.

Well we know that and then some of us have a universe that dreams out into the cosmos and wants to know how come how come a star how come a galaxy what's a comet where does the influence of consciousness begin where does it end if anywhere we want to know and if anyone says well what good will it do you to know you look at them as though they've gone a little bit uh wacky in their their inner and outer and upper and lower stratums you know what do you mean what good to know is to know knowledge for its own sake because the drive of adam why should adam have wanted to eat of the fruit if it wasn't just plain drive to know that's the idea of the evolution of man man evolved to a point where he just wants to know and the no that's consciousness that's mind that's a miracle that's that's the drive to expand to take in and give out take in you know the more when you take in what happens you've taken in knowledge the trouble is of course we get we take in an awful lot of knowledge that isn't so and we have to learn to unlearn or unknow an awful lot of knowledge that isn't so but then that's part of the growth process isn't it when I was a little very little girl I've I figured that that people hid behind the victrola in order to sing where else could have come from you know you I know part of the thing is you did put a record on there and you put the needle on and you you crank the thing and I waited so carefully once when I was sure no one would be there to try to peek very carefully all the way around I don't know why I thought it was necessary to peek secretly it just seemed to me if they were hiding that carefully maybe it's supposed to be a secret and if it's supposed to be a secret I mightn't find out I think I must have been something like three years old but I remember that well because I hunted and hunted it was very confusing to me very nobody was hidden there I didn't know how they did that I was really magic but at least I did want to know and so we do know and I thought I knew of course what I thought I knew wasn't so as obvious so the drive to know is part of what makes man man until man really has a real drive to know he's not man in that portion of his consciousness therefore whenever people say silly things like curiosity killed a cat don't accept it smart people are curious now even if they use their curiosity negatively they still want information and of course we need to evolve to want to gather information that is meaningful rather than that has negative meaninglessness but curiosity is a marvelous thing to have and don't ever let anyone down your curiosity curiosity okay I know a few of you were delighted you figure you have material now with which to spit back anybody tells you stop being that curious that's none of your business well if you need to use it that way it's okay by me life teaches us how to use it constructively in the final analysis and meanwhile we try to find as much charm in the process as we can at least we should try all right then in this seventh Sephirah we have some very important that attributes each one has its important attributes but it has the attributes here starts us in on a process that gives us far far more insight into our personalities and ability to be able to weigh and measure more accurately so that we can learn what to do about the portions of our personalities that require various kinds of changing, transmuting, developing.

You know, it isn't just that we have to be transmuting all the time. Sometimes we work really hard at developing some positive traits. The other ones will die of malnutrition. And that's always the best way to evolve.

And it is doable, provided we care enough to want to do it that way.

Well, with victory, you may say, well, why victory? Well, victory is the literal translation for the Hebrew word netzeh, which is the sign to that Sephirah, that emanation. But another meaning is clarity or clearness or ability to know and see clearly. And when you can see a thing clearly, you're bound then to be victorious because you have all the data you require. That's one way of putting it. But that's only one thing. The intelligence assigned to this area by the Qabalists is called a very interesting thing.

It is not the same as most of the other sefiris because it almost deliberately says, I'm not telling. And yet by saying I'm not telling it's telling because the intelligence assigned to this affair of means literally the occult or hidden intelligence that is the consciousness the function of consciousness and that sphere is hidden that means it's hidden from surface observation you will not understand it by looking on the surface or even by looking behind the Victrola it's going to take deeper looking and deeper knowing now not it isn't called hidden as though someone were trying to hide something from you. The occult or the hidden also in a way could be assigned to something that is seems to be secret and is secret mainly because the consciousness of man has not yet been able to comprehend its meaning.

You know, you can explain Einstein's theorems to someone who hasn't been trained in all the necessary math along with having the necessary mentality. You can explain and explain it, but have they got ears to hear?

They haven't got the equipment to hear what has been said because you simply cannot understand it.

Any person from the Western civilization who took their automobile and drove it into a primitive area where an automobile had never been seen, nor any other piece of machinery. You can explain and explain and explain to those people what makes the machine drive, go, move. Are they going to be able to understand it? They will not have the mental equipment to understand it because their experience does not have all the other portions that are necessary to understand even one aspect of what makes the car go, let alone the principle of motion as it relates to a car or to an airplane. Plane. In the same way, an ability to understand this particular sephirah, which was called victory, is dependent on our being able to gather the knowledge, to have what you might call the equipment within our personalities. Remember, the personalities have vehicles. The each of these four portions of personality is attributed to one of the elements which is attributed to one of the little consciousnesses that are subhuman so that your personality can can be said to be a very specialized grouping of a field of energies that are of a level of consciousness which is subhuman.

And it is your human consciousness that keeps the image received, remember, from beauty.

Image the image making power that the begotten was given by yod hei vo hei elohim you know made in the image and likeness of god remember well that means the image making power we may be making some pretty unbeautiful images and that yet that's called beauty but remember qabalah presents the positive side of all things so that your consciousness will have a positive symbol to link to and therefore receive aid from the hierarchy in evolving itself we do not give you the negative symbols of anything because if you meditated negative symbols you'd go more negative now wouldn't you it's one of the reasons I am so full of sorrow over what humanity or the begotten permits to occur over tv and radio and newspaper media and we permitted you know we organized ourselves as we should amongst such groups as common cause you know who are really non-political they have amongst them people of every race every color every political persuasion is such except they've discovered that you shouldn't belong to any political persuasion since it's pretty much like a pucks on both your houses you know we try to assign ourselves to one group so which one is the worst robber you know and go with them common things like common cause and the Ralph Nader group groups these are trying to work for the common cause of humanity and that's the thing we should all be working for if human beings organize together to bring about good instead of letting themselves get organized to be caught up in the thought forms and in the hate forms of all the negatives it would take very little time indeed to bring about the kingdom of God on earth we're going to have it victory one of these we pointed out as one of the attributions the divine idea and image as to what the final evolution and destiny of man and therefore the physical universe will be it will happen anything that the divine wills and obviously it's the divine will that has placed all these things into action it nothing can really go against the divine will and make it fail but it can sure we can sure delay the occurrences of things since we are the way it has to happen happen. Don't forget this. You are the begotten and you are the way these things will be occurring.

I am the way, the truth, and the life, said the begotten, which is you and me and he and she, and that's what we are, each and every one of us. So it's going to be up to us and is up to us. And where do you have to start? You have to start with your personal self. Where else?

If you don't start with your personal self you're not going to be able to be an instrument for any of the other areas. Your first field of rulership is your personality.

That's what you have to become king and redeemer of first.

And the first portion of your kingship and rulership and redeemership has to be that part of your personality that we assign to victory because it's also assigned to your feeling desire nature so the first in the personality although you have to work on really on all of it at once but we have to talk about it step by step and since the feeling nature, the desire nature, is the gasoline of all movement of consciousness. It is the driver of the chariot, basically.

What we permit ourselves to desire, what quality of desires we bring about to enhance within ourselves, what kind of desires we decide we need like holes in the head, that they may be all right for the infants let them have it and find out that that isn't what they wanted you know we sometimes think well we want this particular man or that particular woman and I think often our only cure is to get them until we develop enough discrimination and knowledge of ourselves you know and of what really functions constructively we won't know how to change the image into something more harmoniously that expresses a closer approximation to the divine image as you would like to relate to it so you see the what we feel and what we desire desire becomes the first area of work, though you can't divorce it from what you think, because desire, the pair of twins on each side, you never divorce them like two sides of a coin.

You can't divorce the divine father from the divine mother. They're two sides of a coin on the upper supernal triad. You can't divorce mercy from severity. They're two sides of a coin. Nor can you divorce victory from splendor they're also two sides of the coin the feeling feeling is one part of the intellectual process and analysis is the other side of the intellectual process and you wouldn't have you can't really have one without the other though you can have them unbalanced where one sometimes seems to have absolutely nothing of the other but it just seem so you always have to have something of the other to have them truly balanced is the work that we go for because that's beauty symmetry or balanced in the way we want them now there's another attribution here though also along with the idea of desire you know you have the sphere of the activity of Venus.

Now, what is Venus? Venus is shown in Qabalah, first of all, by the Hebrew letter Daleth, which is shown at the Empress there, and also by the Tarot key number three.

Daleth means door. Love is the door, therefore, is one way of putting it. And the whole picture of Venus, she's obviously an empress you see so she's a ruler now the sphere of the activity of venus then here is victorious now I'm not mind you I'm not saying it will be victorious it is victorious what you desire is the way you go if you can make up your mind from now till doomsday that you're going to stop smoking if you don't desire to stop with all your heart you're going to keep smoking you won't have enough willpower to stop you your willpower is dependent on your desire power they're in a way you might just about almost call them synonymous so if you desire to evolve then you're going to be driven to study and do the things needed to evolve, to transmute yourself. But how much desire you have will determine how much time and effort you really put into it.

If it's very mild, you'll just work at those areas that doesn't take too much effort or character.

If it's very intense, if you desire to evolve and transmute yourself as intense, boy, you're going to just be evolution incarnate. You know you will focus yourself you'll have the power so that the amount of desire you have towards anything or against anything is really the amount of power you have to accomplish or not to accomplish so always whether it be on a positive or negative level your desire is is victorious, whether you know it or not, even when you haven't realized it, your real desire has always been victorious without recognizing it. You say, my sorrows too, my disillusionments, my disappointments. Yes, even those. Because if you've been desiring, say, a certain type of man or a certain type of woman, say, for companionship, with the mistaken idea that this type of man or this type of woman will be your ideal.

Well, then you have. It's your desire that's built, whatever it is, to attract this particular type or the other attributes, you will overlook them. Or you will not yet have had enough experience to realize that sometimes you go in for imaging certain things and you discover you have to take things that you didn't bargain for with it.

You know I'm sure we've all gone in for that experience and so then we decide to start again and try to see where we can make eradications alleviations or what have you which is a good way to that we grow so I it's always a good idea to be a little cautious a little cautious I remember when I decided at one point in my life I'm tired of living alone I think I'm going to start projecting for my soul mate and at that time I was under the uh a special instruction from someone who was certainly an adept and he got very upset about my wanting to project for my soul mate I said well I've been alone several years my baby is now six years old and I don't know I think I'd like to have a divine partner you know to go along to travel the path with me hand in hand you know reaching for the stars and the cosmos together and uh and so he started to advise me against it and I said why he said because you're not ready to I said what do you mean I'm not ready to every place you look matings occur people have a need for a mate I have a need I want I want my divine partner I want my soulmate I don't want to aspire alone and grow alone and just be alone and he said well the truth is you're transmuting so rapidly you're mutating so rapidly you're not really in condition to attract the right person I said oh come now I think you're underestimating me completely I said I'm projecting for someone who transmute just as rapidly with me I thought that was gonna fix that it didn't but just even when I thought I had certain things covered it didn't exactly cover it because just like if you haven't got the talent to be a musician no amount of imaging and projecting is going to make you uh successful as a musician you might learn how to play fairly well just fairly but you won't be top-notch a virtuoso unless you have the talent and to have the and then uh along with talent you have to have the the timing and the complete and very intense training that's involved.

You see, I thought I'd be able to by-step all that, have all the training together there and the aspiring together, and I didn't learn easily, by the way, in case you want to know.

I don't know if that'll comfort you or not.

But I was pretty fixed on that. It died hard before I was ready to start trusting God up to a point up to a point meanwhile I took years and years to start gathering all the qualities you know that were required for the perfect man for me and I hope you don't get get discouraged it took me 27 years but I had very special needs remember that you know first of all he had to be willing to uh for me to put the work of bota before him now you're not often going to find a man's going to be able to do that in other words I had needs which a person has to be an angel to be able to accept so you see I was looking for something you don't have too many of if you'll excuse me ending the sentence with a preposition the planet doesn't have that many on account of my of the position that I had the destiny that was mine that I undertook and dedicated myself by very intense spiritual oath on account of that I had requirements that other people wouldn't have so don't get discouraged discouraged. See, my 27 years shouldn't discourage you into thinking it would take you that long.

Remember it. What I needed, I had to have a man that would just gloat all over the place with pride by seeing his beloved on the platform, like a father gloats with pride over little girls singing or dancing on a stage, you know. You know, otherwise I might have a man that's jealous, and I couldn't have that, you know, over the position, because I have to teach my spiritual children you see then I then that was enough I figured then he ought to I develop to the point where they become his see I had a lot of details so don't get discouraged it's just a miracle that I got my I got my qualifications they all all the points they then I got them I got them except of course there's one one-tenth of one percent imperfection, as I have told you. And I thank God for them. You guys, I don't want them taking them off from me, because there's nothing else to transmute. I'm going to keep that one-tenth of one percent imperfection, even if I have to dream them up and project them at them.

Got to keep something to work on together.

But now that there's another aspect here that I think we should all consider very carefully for our for our own basic aid this is a point that is very little recognized or realized it seems until we have ears to hear we simply do not hear it and until we have mind to to truly comprehend we cannot seem to comprehend it yet it is such a simple thing when we consider the fact that here with victory we have all those groupings of powers of assigned or the attributions of consciousness that has to do with our desire remember with the way we love that means the way we express love with our feeling nature in all its extraordinary ramifications with that that which expresses itself in so many ways as our will drive that which influences us in every way no matter which way we turn what we desire what the things we desire or don't desire are what we feel all the things that we feel and even the things we don't feel they're all part of that Sephirah because that means then that there are little holes of inexperience that have to get filled in if there are certain kinds of feelings that have to come or be developed we have to see that this is such a vital area to understand of course you'll be in your lessons you're given the full explanation of these different attributions and only if as you read and re-read through many years and go through the various classes where you hear it all in as many different ways as possible will all of the portions of this party of nature gradually light up as you light them up but the thing that has not been understood here at all is that part that has to do with what we should and should not do as spiritual aspirants regarding guess what our sex nature and here is where we have the most difficult time getting the real message across little by little some of you suddenly have insight or realization it's difficult to get the idea across because our minds have been trained.

We have received images from our parents and our families and our friends and the media and the mass mind, all of which are about 99% erroneous.

And it really takes true, deep, and profound desire desire for union with God and willingness to accept all of the disciplines and teachings and testings to be able to fully utilize the full impact or meaning in that particular portion of our nature. Now, how can I try to put it to you again? Because I always try here and there in bits.

We can't, you know, it's too vast a subject. For today, I'll try to just emphasize one or two aspects of it because we can't cover the whole thing. First of all, I'd like you to point out that the paths that connect to victory are very significant.

You notice key 10, the wheel of fortune, is one path that connects mercy to victory. In other words, our ability and capacity to feel merciful, the memory of the merciful or compassionate portions of our being and all being, and the amount of richness that we have within our memory and our feeling nature, pouring through the path of the wheel of fortune is really the essence or measure because you know mercy is even called the measuring intelligence amongst its many names this gives the measure of how much depth of love we are able to feel and therefore gives us the measure of what we need to do to help ourselves increase this depth now what would that be just from that one path that I show you as a beginning you see that the path of mercy through the path of jupiter remember jupiter is what jupiter is the expansive the giver the outpourer you pour out you pour out so that the outpouringness, the outgivingness of the sphere of activity of Jupiter, the whole mercy memory, Sephirah, of your being, pouring as it does, outgoing, into victory, which is the desire nature, the number one thing we need to realize is that we need to be able to love in such a way.

And what is it to love? To love is have the need to give out, to pour out, to give from ourselves out. If you haven't got this need and compulsion to pour, to give, to touch. Now when I say touch, I'm not talking about sexual love.

That's one of the greatest mistakes every single human being seems to make somehow or other.

This touch has nothing to do with sexual love. It is one aspect that is expressed that way through a very specialized interaction on the physical plane.

But how much sexual drive does an infant have? Yet that infant absolutely has to be touched held cuddled kissed you've all heard that finally finally some of the modern science or medical schools have come to the realization the reason and so many babies died and developed into morons, mental deficients as well as emotional deficients, because when they were cast aside, you know, little children left here, left there, not wanted, put into institutions, they just stayed in the little crib. They had nurses. They were given the most perfect food.

They were kept clean. The nurses came and very efficiently did everything for them, and they pined away and died.

They pined away and died.

And they never developed the same kind of fullness. Their minds and their emotions failed to develop properly.

And finally, imagine it taking them that long when any occultist could have told you, that is an occultist who really knows the true meaning of consciousness they have to be told that the one thing the baby needs more than anything is the nourishment of touch touch what is touch? Now you know what touch is your party is touching the seat posterior part of your anatomy and it feels hardness that's touch Touch. Now that's touch. And part of you is like this. In your hands, every part of you that's touching some part, it's touch. You're touching something, aren't you? You're touching yourself. Or you're reaching over to touch somebody. Body what is touch my little precious dog shalom he loves to just lean tight against his daddy he needs the touch and he's a dog but he needs that touch should I my cat isn't satisfied so just come he just pesters and pesters till I put my arm up then I have to hold him he can't breathe from my point of view he's practically being choked then he purrs he's being held he's being touched touched demonstrativeness there is this need to be touched by everything every newborn creature and furthermore here's the point that you don't know you never outgrow it they went and took in one of the experiments they took a bunch of very old unwanted people that had been cast off into one of these old places that you put them.

And they brought them in to sit and hold and cuddle, but it had to be skin touch, not clothes touch. Uh-uh-uh. Skin touch. Now, do you think that's unspiritual? Well, you don't belong in this temple.

You go away. Come back when you decide that you're willing to find out what spiritual is. Because if you think the temple of God, to touch the temple of God is unspiritual, then you're not ready for any kind of practices that are as intense as the practices you receive here.

Anyway, these very old people, some of them were feeble-minded.

You know, they were so old. And there was another miracle. Almost every one of these old people started to develop more and more of a vitality. The babies started to develop more and more of a vitality. Both babies and old people started to get their brains back for some... Isn't that interesting?

Brains!

Ability for the mind to function. Their emotions started to develop properly.

Just from what? From being cuddled, petted, touched. And it is just the most extraordinary thing to watch how carefully people avoid touching each other and how erroneously they have it tied up with physical sex do you know dr. Von urban a psychiatrist wrote a book about the importance of touch between husband and wife he said throw away your twin beds then you must sleep in the same bed throw away your undergarments because the skin and that has nothing to do with with the connubial duties or responsibilities or joys whichever you You call it by whichever level you might be responding to it at the moment. But he said it was the need between the husband and wife for mutual nourishment.

He had the theory, and it's not wrong, it's not exactly right, but it isn't wrong, the theory that the husband and wife nourish each other in a bioelectrical manner by being able to have the skin touch.

Now would you believe it I had people coming to this class I had every one of them read that book where it was given to them from one point of view by dr von urban I explained to them the simple little thing I'm explaining to you and you would you believe that most of them didn't have ears to here and they were still having twin beds and wearing pajamas and or nightgowns if you have to wear it because you're too cold that's one thing but even so now I'm this is husband and wife but the point is it isn't limited to that it isn't limited to that babies need to be touched old people need to be touched and I don't mean just giving a touch you need the sort of that back and forth like you in breathe and you out breathe people need it for nourishment now lots of people are afraid because they've been utterly mistrained certainly in this culture it's needed for nourishment like you need to in breathe and out breathe people who are close sisters brothers friends they need it when you find people who haven't been given the erroneous kinds of nonsense and teaching uh and inhibitions you find they just naturally tend to want to reach over while they're talking. I do. I stroke.

You should see how many times I had to walk home from a ride because people misunderstood me when I was young.

I had to learn a little discrimination in this way that apparently there aren't too many people that are pure in heart. Because to me touch was the delight of just if you like someone you touch them. Them. When you don't touch them, it's because you don't like them. And not that you shouldn't avoid touching some people. Of course you should avoid touching some people. Some people simply aren't touchable. They're not likeable. Though it's nicer. I mean, naturally, you'd much rather have the delight of touch. And right here, I've tried to show you that amongst each other, you should sort of promote that sister-brother, the purity. So the first thing you've got to throw out of your minds the limitation of the touch do you know that a very large percentage of women start to very profoundly very profoundly resent their husbands because to their husbands touch becomes synonymous with oh you are rousing me to you know what and they get resentful because although they would love the you-know-what under proper conditions, they don't want to, if the sense of touch becomes limited to that, they feel cheated.

Now, there are a few men who feel that way too, but usually it's more often women because women are, by nature, more apt to be responsive to touch. Men unless if they haven't had mothers that taught them the joy of being loved and cuddled skin wise have to be taught by their loving wives and their sisters really should teach them and their friends but if they missed that at least the wives should start teaching them that touch should not be used for that one purpose. It can become one aspect of the expression, but touching should be something that goes on every day between husband and wife just to show we are together, to nourish each other's vital bodies.

It becomes actually for many people even a matter of health. Do you know that? A matter of health. Because the etheric bodies, respond when there's love, when there's a tenderness in the heart.

The etheric bodies respond to this tenderness, this love, and it becomes a healing even when they don't even deliberately or consciously think of it that way.

That's how important it is to come to recognize the purity of what touch should be. That's why Key 13, you see that the skeleton, connects beauty to victory that's the feeling nature and I want you to look at the big picture of key 13 and notice the white rose purified desire now it is death to the highest spiritual attainment at least in this incarnation if you do not purify your desire in this way that you make touch that which is a healing something to each other haven't you seen those pictures where some people who are healers they they've touched flowers and there's a transfer of vitality that's from the vital body you know from the etheric body there's a transfer of this vital essence now this is something that doesn't happen just because of that there are some people People have a large amount of this extra etheric energy, and so they're able to project it to people who aren't well up to a point.

If they overdo it, they start to decline.

But very often, people who could be in so much better vital health aren't because one or the other or both partners simply hasn't had ears to hear.

And unless you have had ears to hear and you recognize and try to promote in other words and by touch I don't mean just idly touch the touch has to have consciousness behind it you touch something when I touch my dog my cat my sister my brother when I touch a tree a leaf when I touch my 99 9 tenths percent perfect man with my touch there's always a meditation that it rouses by itself a feeling of tenderness I'm touching and experiencing tenderness this automatically pours vital energy into anything and anybody I'm touching because I love to love and love has has a need to give. You see that? You see what I, remember what I said about the outgivingness? To give. You give of your tenderness.

So you see how the very keys that connect.
