Easter - Mystical Truth Of Eternal Ressurection
My talk for this morning is the mystical truths of eternal resurrection.
I need not tell you that what we're going to do is talk about the true Qabalistic significance of what we celebrate as Easter Sunday. We're going to talk about the true meaning of the story we have heard from the Bible.
And we're going to see it from the point of view, indeed, I hope we're going to share the seeing, from the point of view of that extraordinary and greatest Qabalist of all, the Rabbi Jesus of Nazareth.
Because first of all I would like to remind all of us together that the exoteric interpretations that have been made in regard to this season have been the most fantastic interaction or groups of different kinds of thinking, feeling, and believing have been brought together.
Incidentally, along with this, ideas that belong to paganism and not to what Jesus thought, believed, and taught. So that the celebration of Easter has, for too many people, become something that would attempt to place the weakest part of the human nature into an activity of lethargy in other words by taking the thoughts the interpretations the mistranslations of that time and period that is the time and period that came after jesus what we find is that an extraordinary percentage of people on this planet are doing what jesus told them not to do they're worshiping false gods number one and he would have been the most horrified of all the most horrified of all and is incidentally and along with that not only are false gods worshipped but false standards are given very false standards because if anyone is going to truly accept the idea quote if you believe in me basically I'm just quoting the idea if you believe in me that I was born other this is the way people think this is what people think it says in the Bible the way they mistranslated that I was born if you believe that I was born in a way other than everybody else which means I was born other than you you know I was born without a physical father in essence is what the story has come to be believed in and that I have been different right from the beginning beginning because I am the only one that has ever been born that has only God for father.
You see, the rest of you have physical fathers, you understand. I mean, this is what people think he said, but he didn't say this. You know, but he, the spiritual, just, you know, the Lord of the universe, the one God, that was the field that he claimed that was his father but he alone the only begotten of what they think it was said which he didn't say he was and that if you just believe this and then also you you have been told especially in the exoteric religions if you will believe also light and there shall be light this the magical powers and greater things shall ye do jesus said and look at the light see see well and if you believe also that uh jesus a person somebody died because you're a sinner just believe that and boy hunky dory you've got it made doll you've got it made you don't have to worry and you don't have to be afraid all you have to do is believe that somebody died to save you whatever I don't know quite what from but from your sins I assume and then you're going to end up of course in in the heavenly spheres and everybody else who doesn't believe it is going to hell you know where it's right quite hot now is now isn't it extraordinary I think it would be cold myself because I like warm weather anyway but anyway it an extraordinary number of people actually accept this literally literally and it to those who really know the background of Jesus which means those who have been trained in Qabalah this whole story is is so extraordinary the fact that any good mind could accept it and try to live by such an idea is so extraordinary it's unfathomable we can only say thank God that evolution is taking place and that children will eventually grow up whether in this incarnation or in many incarnations where they will not accept fairy tales but will come to know something greater grander infinitely more glorious and that is the truth the truth is jesus himself taught it so let's proceed with a little extra those of you who've been coming every sunday may think you're going to hear the same story but you're not I'm going to give it a little extra to twit never know what I'm going to be up to you know part of the charm of being of feeling secure in god you know you can pull the sudden surprises and figure well god loves me enough and I'm therefore secure enough in god I don't have to follow various ruts now then so I'm going to share with you very wonderful new insights that have to do with the with our celebration of this Easter Sunday for some little time my mind has been going rather regularly to a desire to again attend a Passover service which I had attended as a child and I felt that it was rather important to attend another Passover service so that I could experience and re experience it from the point of view of all of the training the teaching the training I've received as a Qabalist to reinterpret what I experience and see from this inner level this depth of knowing and as surely we all realize desire is the power that brings all things into manifestation I have to be very careful what I want you know but I wasn't being a bit careful about this desire I knew it was a very fine thing and so I desired it with a with the proper amount of abandoned freedom, and lo and behold, I was invited to a Passover service.
And in fact, along with me came three fabulous Qabalists, amongst which are naturally my beloved, gorgeous, fantastic other half there. You make sure you see his outfit.
You'll see I'm understating it. You know our beautiful frat a Reverend Jacob I don't know why you shake your head at me it's obvious look in the mirror and two other very beloved close Qabalists who might be considered by some people what the Bible refers to as Gentiles you know but not by us because we are spiritual Israel and there can't be any more israel than that as far as we're concerned so there were four of us there and the place we were invited to attend the passover service incidentally was the home of a an orthodox cabalistic person a beautiful person but who has been trained in a line of orthodox cabalism which which made it that much more marvelous, you see, because it does add flavor of an extraordinary kind to such an experience.
Well, I re-experienced Passover in such a way that I would say I really experienced it for the first time, truly first time, because the Lord of the universe, blessed be his holy name, certainly in, through, and around me and us, gave me insights I experienced levels and it and realized from the depth of my soul how completely the passover festival is tied up with easter you might ask well what do we what has all this got to do with easter but everything the one of the extraordinary misinterpretations that has come into being in exoteric religion has to do with just this now the Bible the Old Testament remember you have to be a Qabalist to understand the Bible to know what the stories are really saying to begin with because the prophets were were and are the trained Qabalists all of the prophets who were the true prophets these are trained in the mystical wisdom the secret wisdom of of Israel. And therefore, only tablists can know to begin with what they were really saying, as against those that take some things not only literally, but are unable to understand the language, the language being the language of symbol, the language of parable, which we are all taught to understand as much as we can.
Now, the celebration of the Passover festival has to do with the period when Moses led the Jews out of bondage, when he brought them out of bondage to Egypt, the various miracles that are involved. All. And this celebration takes place every year and has been taking place every single year since that time. You know, and that's quite a time ago if you want to think of it historically. But it is an experience that has to do with the evolution of humanity.
And the insight I received during the celebration of this festival, the relating of the story, you see this story is related that's part of the ritual this story is related so that children will grow up being filled with gratitude to god for freedom freedom of religion particularly and in order also to to keep the basic tradition alive that has to do with being willing to stay, to remain with one's religious conviction, the conviction that has been given to man by God or the Spirit of God, which says in essence, Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Now remember this is what made the israelites the hebrews something other than other than the people around them who worship many gods they had made a pact you might say a covenant with the lord of the universe that there shall they shall worship no other god but the one and that there is but but one God, unity.
That's a haya on the Qabalistic tree of life, the crown. Now this outer or historical celebration that takes place, we can't go into that because I want to go into the aspect that has to do more with the death and resurrection as an evolutionary factor in each of us to give you the true mystical understanding which will help every one of us to live more fully the kind of life that we're being prepared to live and to overcome that last enemy which is sometimes been called death incidentally and rightly so especially in its qabalistic sense therefore I I only want to give you the essence of a few of the things that I I experienced during this passover festival in my catalystic soul and it was basically this now the freedom although we have one thing on the physical plane remember anything that occurs on the outer or physical plane does so because it has already occurred on the inner plane or let's put it another way cause comes or the cause of anything comes from consciousness so that something has happened first in the consciousness of man before it occurs on the outer plane that's why we have for example very teachings we have to be careful as to what we we desire what we permit ourselves to think to do because these are the forces that project project actualities that we experience on the material or physical plane.
Now then, remembering this, please bear in mind that the story of the freeing of the Hebrews from this slavery in Egypt involves first what the slaughtering or the killing of an animal now people will say yeah and I especially I don't like it when I hear people have killed an ant so you can imagine how I would react to anything of in a more highly evolved level but you see in qabalah this this has a different meaning entirely because please look at the foundation now I want to remind you foundation the ninth Sephirah there which means activity of consciousness basically foundation there is assigned to the vital animal soul which man Man shares with all living creatures the vital animal soul. Therefore, the esoteric meaning known to all the prophets at all times trained in this tradition is very obvious.
Man was slave and unfortunately is slave, but at least in consciousness there's been a change and dating to the point where our story is brought in of Moses that particular part of the change in the evolutionary status of man remember man was given dominion over this vital animal soul nature go back to Genesis if you want to be reminded in what way and how because we can't go into each phase we'd be here or too long and then you'd get restless and want to go and celebrate easter the other way show people your new clothes or something like that anyway so we'll try to make it as brief as possible so we have then this animal nature that man was given dominion over at least as a principle and then we finally have the development in evolution where man had come to a point where he had to overcome his bondage his slavery to egypt now egypt kabbalistically always means the darkness and the physical the material you know that which is not of the light literally so that man had to be saved or he had to overcome and the only way he could become one who could be taken out of bondage would be to slay the animal nature that is to slay make a sacrifice and to have this sign over the door now sign also it means mark and I want to remind you that Tarot key number 21 the world the hebrew letter assigned to that the hebrew letter tav the ancient way of writing it even was slightly different and it means mark it's right up above me for those of you who aren't familiar with the hebrew letter um tav means mark so that they the mark made when when you think of it in its initiatory aspects, has to do with the dominion, because I want to remind you this is also assigned to the sphere of activity of Saturn.
It is the Saturn forcing us, and Saturn, remember, is the teacher. It is the teacher, and it is that which disciplines, which controls, so that the pair of opposites assigned to this, the dominion and slavery, in other words, the same force, we either have dominion over it or we are slaves to it and that's the path key 21 that leads mind you from the kingdom up to foundation so you see it even there on this qabalistic tree of life in other words this freedom being freed from bondage or slavery to the animal nature notice that that Tarot even has animals around on it and the four fixed signs of the zodiac that except for man which incidentally in the physical vehicle also has what's called an animal body and shares the vital animal soul with all living creatures so that you have your four types of animal except man evolved beyond that through dominion over the animal nature that is learning how to gain control therefore the bondage the slavery that all of us have at times and some too much of the time or most of the time the slavery bondage to the animal nature which has to do with those parts of the character that are not controlled or disciplined like hate resentment you know the all of the unbeautiful and unloving and unlovely emotions that shatter out and are so destructive incidentally whether we recognize it or not destructive to others as well as to ourselves now all of these elements and are giving this This vital animal soul also, bondage also incidentally to material things.
Now this is the sacrifice had to be made in order to finally find the city of peace.
And you know, the peace that passeth understanding. Then we will not go into the full story of the 40 years of wandering, which in itself, the number 40, happens to be the Qabalistic tree of life, ten times four, the four worlds, so that the attainment of evolution has to take place by the ability to become one with each of these phases of the divine consciousness, every one of them, through the four worlds, before finally the home, the true home, israel and jerusalem city of peace city also of the beloved can become one with us so now this has the inner there is the inner essence and cabalistic meaning of that portion of it well then the sacrifice of animal nature our animal nature the things in us that do the ungracious is involved here so mind you remember moses brought the ten commandments to the chosen people for example you are the chosen otherwise why would you be sitting here receiving mine instruction saith the lord the chosen people are those who are willing to say hear o israel the lord thy God the Lord is one the Lord my God the Lord is one here oh Israel thou shalt have no other gods before me thou shalt worship the one the only thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart with all thy soul with all thy mind now when we become willing to accept this not just accept it intellectually with words but to start working at living it then what do we do we sacrifice the animal nature and there you have the ability to start being led out of bondage so the this I re experienced in the retelling I experienced the essence and soul of it as I listened to the Passover festival telling the story and praising praising God and this flow of gratitude and then at a portion of this festival remember this is all a ritual that takes place and this and during this ritual the most important aspects of it as story is told happens to do with sharing certain foods and wine we're coming to some of the the real vital aspects of the matter.
Because part of the Passover festival, they have to take one piece of unleavened bread, one piece, and break it up into parts for each person there, and you have to eat all of it. I mean, of that one piece. So if there are very few people, incidentally, just as a little aside, if there are very few people sitting down at the Passover feast, They'd have to eat a lot of matzah, that is, unleavened bread, and if they don't like it, that's rough, you have to.
Otherwise, symbolically, you're going against the expression ritualistically of this vital performance, that is, the declaration that the one God is in me and in you and in all of us. It is a declaration that it is God who is the sustenance and that the substance of sustenance is God.
It is a ritualistic declaration, even so declared in essence. And there are four places where you have to drink wine during the ritual. Isn't that interesting? It takes us right into the four worlds. Four places where you have to drink the wine. This is ritualistic drinking of the wine. And, you know, I'll remind you that the wine is red. Red. And symbolically it also, it has to do with the flame of livingness of God. The flame of the livingness of God, you know, that brings this inebriation.
But inebriation because it is God that's the sustenance. It is God that we partake of. So here we have the Passover festival.
And now let's go to the New Testament now that I've pointed out there's also the eating of bitter herbs and so on but we won't go into that and then you eat, oh my God do you eat part of the ritual which you can imagine was my natural gluttony that the Lord of the Universe has not yet cured me of blessed be his holy name wait a while you can imagine the rapture I experienced over whatever liberation from my bondage to the animal nature could be it was a marvelous glorious thing anyway anyway I said I like to earn my sins ahead of time I starved myself to afford my sins so that when I get on the scales I don't have to pay the piper, you know. And it worked, it worked.
Anyway, I go in for abstinence, that's, I help keep the balance. I abstain, and then I can let the Lord of the Universe enjoy all this fantastic interaction and sharing and unification through the taste of the food and the enjoyment thereof, etc. etc. So we had a glorious festival indeed. Now then, what we do not seem to know, and certainly what exoteric religion remains as utterly unaware of as possible if they ever did know, which I suppose some of them at one time must have known, is the fact that what the New Testament has referred to as the Last Supper, or what people have heard of as the Last Supper, it wasn't any last supper at all what's the matter with them you read reread your bible he it was the celebration of the passover festival jesus was a hebrew he was trained in the secret wisdom of israel he wouldn't dream of ignoring the passover festival no one who goes with the basic teachings of their faith and especially who understands its mystical import would dream of ignoring this so he arranged beforehand and it's it clearly tells us this and even in the bible to uh have the passover festival and the Passover festival is a joyous thing we have been led to understand that these bunch of people were there and they were so very glum and unhappy now that is not true it cannot be true because that would be going against his complete faith his complete faith in the Lord of the universe in the prophets in in the teachings, the trainings, all that we have.
As a matter of fact, it's obligatory to be full of joy and to celebrate. So if you're ever invited to a festival, remember that. You're obligated to your host to be celebrating joyously because this is the celebration of the freedom from slavery and bitterness and horror beyond description, you see, which did occur historically incidentally but always outer historical occurrences have their inner esoteric significance which came first in the evolution of consciousness so you see we're given a nonsense story about a glum last supper where as a matter of fact they were having a marvelous Passover festival as it has to be or you wouldn't be celebrating it celebrating freedom from bondage of the worst kind now then jesus had also been foretelling he had this intuitive realization he was talking about initiation the initiations he had passed through uh very definitely in more ways than one in the essene uh cabalistic monastery where he had been given his his teachings and trainings the same line of teaching incidentally which is represented right here and right now by builders of the adytum so because he knew of this he had this training and this knowledge certainly he also knew what what these initiatory processes involved.
And in speaking, therefore, to his disciples, he had several vital things to say to them regarding this initiation, of which, remember, the celebration of the Passover festival is a beginning, celebrating these, and reminding ourselves that we have to work at remaining free. Even that is involved in Passover festival, that you cannot permit yourself to become a slave again. It is a reminder and a reminder, just like everything we have to overcome in the way of our animal nature. Don't we have to work at it and work at it and work at it? We have to have continuous reminders, continuous reminders, and thus we have this continuous reminder in the Passover celebration. Now he was telling his disciples, in the story in the Bible basically, basically or foretelling telling them that he was going to be leaving them but just before and as a part of that he was saying to them now my beloved ones I want you to realize this in that he who seeketh after his life shall lose it because you see they were very much thinking about life and death because of what he was foretelling he said he who seeketh after his life shall lose it but he who loses his life in the bible it's mistranslated for the scriptures it isn't for the scriptures it's for the tradition the tradition of israel this tradition the tradition that has held and teaches of the evolution of humanity but he who loses his life for the traditional teaching the evolution on the tree of life he shall find it now I want to repeat that to you people wondered what are they talking about obviously something very profound and deep he made it very clear that when people seek after their life and how do people usually do it look what people will do for survival they'll take advantage of anybody and everybody they can you know figure after all you know and love and war a you anything counts and more you know if survival is a war you have to you just have to fight knock people out exploit them of course they don't use those words there are always beautiful words for conduct that is not in harmony with true spiritual attainment you will always find those beautiful words nevertheless they don't the beautiful words do not mean that truth is contained in them so that uh he was very he was in every way trying to get across this fantastically important point to his disciples and to anyone and everyone who would listen and that is that if you want to know eternal life you're going to have to be willing to give up what you think is worth living for and fighting for in life and take up the cross because he said also during that same time and that was before the passover festival mind you he was preparing for it yet talking to them about life and death and he part of what he was saying was pick up thy cross and follow me and I want to remind you that the cross again the mark here again we're talking about tarot key 21 the world the hebrew letter tav assigned to saturn and in the energy field you know even our eastern brethren tell us that the serpent energy that we have that evolves us is coiled up in that center of force which has its connection with a part of our body that is at the base of the spine now that in our tradition is called the Saturn Center so when Jesus said pick up thy cross he was saying saying pick up thy Dominion you know from bondage slavery to the animal nature pick it up gain Dominion over the lower part of the self over that which seeks after life and then you lose it you lose your life you do that just think and follow me even where it said I am the way way here's the way there are the paths I am the truth this is truth about the self it is I am the light this is the magic of light the qabalah teaches us how to go from from the darkness of ignorance to the light of illumination illumination itself means light so he was trying trying to teach them he was teaching them pure qabalah furthermore because they didn't even really understand this they were saying hmm amongst themselves so well gee I'm going to be unhappy about our beloved going you know he's gonna die and all that now of course he's gonna die he says he's gonna die and uh but he'll appear in three days to show that something or other survives but if he's going to be died they were more interested just think even the disciples and who's going to be chief amongst them think of that that's yeah reread it in the bible it's there so what especially saint mark is where you'll find uh less other things thrown in in that portion of the story more succinctly placed together so that uh there instead of there being concerned with the qabalistic teachings what is it then he finds them talking amongst himself well then when uh when rabbi jesus uh leaves us who amongst us is going to be the head the chief and so I can imagine how he felt not only imagine I'm sorry to tell you I even know I know I have I know it's one of the set things that sometimes certain knowledge brings sorrow but I'd rather know the truth is truth and we should so we're so what are the concerns then who ambition for place you can see that egotism you can see that imagine how he felt but he says he who would be chief amongst you let him be the servant of all remember that remember it if you don't read it read it saint mark I think that's chapter um eight I think the end of chapter eight maybe if it isn't eight it's seven maybe I think it's eight anyway maybe you'll have to read more of the bible by looking it up but since I'm not that sure good reason so anyway that's what he said he who would be chief amongst you let him be the servant of all now this is a very important thing because here he's given giving all the various instructions before he's to die and all I'm giving you the mystical truths of eternal resurrection in this talk you know the and the mystical truths not the namby-pamby mysticism practical mysticism the attainment I'm trying to show you what's involved in the true story in the true easter celebration which has to include passover or you're not really even celebrating it you're not celebrating Easter unless you're including Passover because the Passover festival was preceded by one day the next day he was taken after celebrating it he was accordingly taken and crucified and certainly all of us by now should realize that that is completely a part of the story of the initiation of man of you and of me that as a matter of fact and crucified in what way well of course we all have a way of thinking that that giving up certain things there's more than one area of crucifixion that we all undergo very regularly we have a way of thinking that if we give up certain things you know we make sacrifices that that's going to bear certain types of fruit but the truth of the matter is and this is what Jesus was trying so hard to get his disciples to understand is that what some people think of as sacrifices are in sacrifices to those who know when he was saying and he who loses his his life for the sake of the tradition, that is, for traveling the paths of return.
And what is it to lose your life for the sake of traveling the paths of return?
Well, in evolution, we all have gone through periods, and we do it because we are eternally given opportunities over and over again until we evolve from the lesser from the bondages and slaveries to dominion over the more but basically in essence it's bondage to materialistic values because remember he was asked jesus was asked also uh when apparently the scribes were attempting to trick him he was asked what is the most important teaching of this fate of your faith of the faith our faith and he said my Israel Adonai Eloheinu Adonai Ehud mainly hear O Israel the Lord our God the Lord is one and then he said and then on top of that thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart and soul and mind and being he stressed that because the first commandment does involve that then he said and then the next law incidentally he did not say a new law I give unto you that is a complete mistranslation because all through the old testament and all through the mystical training of the qabalistic aspects this has this was stressed at all times the idea that that thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
Because remember, Jesus then said the rest, then, of the commandments.
Really, in essence, you can just say, love thy neighbor as thyself. Because after all, what did the rest of the commandments tell you? You shouldn't cheat and you shouldn't want your neighbor's wife or husband. You know, you shouldn't covet any of the possessions. You shouldn't be that concerned. You certainly shouldn't have you know hatred you shouldn't be selfish he was giving the kind of attributes the commandments the ethics that have to do with loving your neighbor as yourself if you love your neighbor are you going to want to commit adultery are you going to want to kill your neighbor if you would love your neighbor as yourself and so when he said love thy neighbor as myself are you going to tear your neighbor down are you going to let hatred run from your heart or soul to your to your neighbor are you going to let animal nature just explode are you going to are you going to transmute it and keep it in the peace that passeth understanding so all of the commandments he mentioned this in essence have to do with that and also therefore Therefore, when you love your neighbors yourself, what do you want to do then?
You want to be servant to your neighbor. You know, he who would be chief amongst you, let him be the servant of all. So he tried in every way to get a point across, which we think about, but how much do we realize the fantastic importance of following these precepts and really understanding them? At any rate, he finally then he was crucified and incidentally it's kind of ridiculous to say that Jesus said the Jews did thus and thus as though he wasn't a Jew. You can see that somebody there had a lot of anti-Semitism when they first started to write down a few recollections.
And here the very person that has given us such beauty and such glory, they they write up various experiences in such a way so that most human beings forget that here was the flower of the teaching that has to do with the worshiping of the one God and also here was the living example who lived out on the physical plane the inner mystery of initiation now in the the initiatory mysteries you have to go through all of the steps that jesus went through on the outer plane incidentally through various rituals that have been handed down and exist to this day and are under the stewardship of builders of the adytum if you please the self-same rituals basically you know in and in their spirit are still alive and still utilized and jesus definitely was put through these initiatory steps also he really went through the complete transmutation that's involved in them because having initiation on a physical plane doesn't have to mean a thing you know it can help you if you take that initiation that is that you have on the physical plane and work it into your life so every moment of your life you live it now that That has to be up to you.
The initiation will open the doors to the forces for you. It makes the forces available. But you have to gain dominion over those forces and do the work. And this is why Jesus said, Lift up thy cross and follow me. That's the whole idea of the cross. Saturn.
Gain dominion. Then, what about the crucifixion? We all have to die. I remind you what jesus was trying to tell his disciples when he said you know if you lose your life for this for the sake of your evolution for the sake of this then you'll really find it and my beloveds I can tell you not because I have been told it but I am one of the cloud witnesses that walk this earth that can say with Jesus and say it because I know with Jesus that I am the light and I am the truth and I am the way because I am that tree you are that tree to you too I am because I am not I am incidentally not I and and the personality is something else that I hope you love very much I love to be loved as an but what I the I I speak of is I am that I am which I am fortunate enough blessed enough to know and I know because I am one of the cloud of witnesses witnesses who bears witness to these truths I know that the redeemer liveth because I know that I am the redeemer now does that mean that I an am the redeemer well we know better the higher self beauty that which is called generic humanity adam that which is called the redeemer that's the sixth Sephirah on the tree of life that which is called the only begotten because it means humanity man who gains dominion or who is freed from the bondage to the lower self the redeemer is your true inner self you are the only begotten with me in you lives the Redeemer but not until you work at experiencing living the truth living the life you have to become willing to lose your life now does that mean you have to suffer we suffer only when we're trying to hang on to something that is really death because he who fights to have for his life the things and takes advantage of his fellow man is it that life is a living death you know our beloved harriet as I told you as you know having passed on she she has always said she would and she has left in her will her home to the the temple although it'll be a good year before all of it goes through probate and so on and I've had quite a few people so is my jacob say to us well now I suppose you'll be wanting to move up to the house there That's because, you know, the place that Jacob and I live is just a very little cabin place, and it doesn't have enough room, and it cost $1,200 when it was bought, and it really is worth less than that now in some ways, except it's beautiful.
It's beautiful. It has atmosphere. It is beautiful.
It has spirit. It is the abode of God. It is glorious. But it sure does not have enough room. That's a very tiny thing and there are inconveniences and uh the uh home that our beloved harriet has it had is much bigger on a hill and uh it's considered a very much more status home that's a good way to put it don't you think it is a status home definitely that so I I can't and I can't begin to tell you people very close to when uh have heard jacob say and have heard me say well no we don't think so we don't know maybe but we're not a bit sure we really don't feel we want to what we've been looked upon as though we're uh we've gone out of our cotton-picking minds as though we are something we are just well maniacs you know something's very wrong very wrong with us that we didn't think that you know if that what you know becomes made available not want to do that you know to go up to a nice larger prestige home she well may I point out to you that you know man doesn't live by bread alone it has a lot more meanings but we still go we still return to the essence idea think of the values that these beloveds and I'm talking about some very close beloveds incidentally think of the values that they're still so stuck with that they think that that that uh we're kind of insane not to instantly be practically jumping something and unable to wait to just you know rush in there and you know grab grab grab and get in there into a prestige something or other but the truth of the matter is that you see I've already died long since and incidentally I had to do it three times in this incarnation I'm a slow learner I've died three times and been resurrected by the grace of God and beloved Jacob has died and been resurrected.
In other words, we have died. Everything in our personalities, everything in our lives has become meaningless.
We have been, by the grace of God, we've gone through the crucifixion. As I said, imagine me three times.
At least, as long as we make it finally, we hope. I hope I won't require more. Who knows? Knows no man knoweth but the father what I'm trying to point out is that we have to come sooner or later through in some way or other this the idea of the sacrificing of the animal we discover it is not and never was a sacrifice because in the resurrection that that's when When you know never the spirit was born, the spirit will cease to be never, mind you, not because it's taught, though it's nice to have that realization that it is taught, and have those who come and help lift your spirits and sing the psalms to you to help give you the desire and the drive and to help you to worship in proper manner, to know what is worthwhile and what isn't all of the all of these things it is wonderful to have these but we when we experience that portion of ourselves which is the begun we do this you notice the three paths that lead into beauty you notice one of them is death now that's you have to die to the old self to be born into the new see key 13 there it is death see it leads right up and it's the desires you stop desiring what the average person desires you know rust and moth corrupts I mean there's nothing wrong with having uh certain material things and even comforts provided they don't have you provided you don't sell yourself out to satan there's satan look leading up to beauty from splendor to beauty tarot key 15 the devil that's the self same there you see the full uh esoteric significance and there look at the key 14 holy guardian angel leading up to the same spot there it is look at it archangel mikhail it's called the path of temptation and trial and of course we all we're all put through this and some of us through some portions of it many a time but you see then there there are some of us who become filled finally with that light we those of us who reach that point by the grace of god we're not giving up anything because we've discovered that by when by losing that life who needs it oh oh thank god who needs it no because we found our lives we are the servant of all the servant of all and we found that that's the way of having the greatest fulfillment one very sweet person who had to be here because of our harriet passing over when I was asked how come Jacob and I each of us came into this work and just how did we you know find ourselves in this situation and I was telling her that actually when I first came to dr. Case I came a living death I was that was a complete a complete death absolute I had nothing to live for and did not want to live that's death I didn't want to live and I explained how he through his influence and this work to qabalah helped me to find how to cure my soul how to cure my spirit of this and I received a new life I received a reason to live and she said what was that I said service to humanity wiping tears off cheeks doing anything and everything even if it's one little drop to help lift the pain to help lift the consciousness to serve man love thy neighbor as thyself she said my what an unselfish kind of thing to do she said what an extraordinary unselfish thing and do you know I that kind of hit me and I thought how strange how utterly strange to say that that's it's not an unselfish thing I have so much infinitely more I don't have to worry about losing things or fight other people or betray other people to have them I mean unselfish what's unselfish about that I have less problems I don't have to worry about somebody taking away a refrigerator or a tv or something a thing I don't have to waste my energies that way I like them fine but you know that's a different kind of a livingness though she thought unselfish I have the most a richness and my jacob with me we have a richness that no words can even remotely not even remotely describe because god has been gracious enough enough to make us a servant unto all and greater richness hath no man and this is the only resurrection that we even desire but then we know that we cannot die the body so what the personality well I hope you like my personality some people think it's too much to take I figure it's too bad too bad I like I I love everybody so much I want everybody to be charmed and so I just assume they were all charmed even with my personality though they don't have to be you see we can't force that but the point is that's one portion of a being that's what the hands or the arms and the voice of God we hope in every way shape and form but that basic you that will always live is there in you and what are we trying to do those of us who was servants to you we're trying to help you to become the ever-living we're trying to help you to become the Redeemer because we you have to redeem yourself God redeems you through your own self work through your own Passover festival and we're trying to help you to want to want to want that beyond all else we're trying to help give you whatever aid you're willing to receive and this is why when anyone tells me I'm unselfish I truly don't know what they're talking about because if and jacob feels the same way to have a life where you're privileged to serve and to know that your entire life belongs to others because it belongs first to god because you've given up the other you know who needs it is having the riches that the dust the moths certainly aren't going to corrupt it so what's unselfish about me having with the richness that I'm going to be able to take with me you see it don't you think that that that's pretty selfish in a way let's say I I consider myself selfish because I'm full of the divine self and this is the kind of selfishness I want all of us to share but my darlings the message basically and always eternally truly of this day of this season is that that which is truly you truly you never was born and will never die and yea is land with job no matter what happens with job when you know it you'll say even though he slay me yet will I believe on him even though he slay me yet will I believe on him that's going along with the the qabalistic training because things have to be various levels have to be slain surely but to feel this richness and this joy this glory this knowledge that the resurrection walks with us I am the resurrection the truth the light the life together we are that and if I know it just a little bit more than most well it's only because I've just worked at it I've had to die a few extra times and therefore works it a little harder but it isn't the end who knows it I know that the love God's love is yours I know know that you are so loved that God gave the central essence, God gave the only begotten Son, that is your true selfhood, to you so that you can consciously become an eternal soul. So we rejoice on this day because we know that we are being grown by God, that that there are those who love us, who are the messengers and the agents of God, that the Shekhinah, the Divine Presence, is here with us now.
It is here in your presence now because you have come to seek that deity, that divinity, and you are working and yearning, and you are celebrating the absolute beauty that is yours to inherit the kingdom of God fear not little flock it is your father's desire to give you the kingdom it is yours and not for a day or a lifetime or even a thousand lifetimes but for eternity I resurrect myself in thee now the
