The topic of our talk for this morning is Wealth, Poverty, and Security in Mysticism. That means we're talking about Tarot Key Number 10, The Wheel of Fortune, which you see here. Now this Hebrew letter has various attributions given it remember by the attained ones by those who have given us the secret wisdom of Israel of which this is a part and so the attributions of the letter give us the insight into what the fuller and deeper meanings of the key are now one of the attributions is related to the function and the function attribution wise is graph if you will recall in our last talk the last where we took up Tarot Key number nine was three weeks ago because I had an extra Sunday off on account of there being five Sundays last month and I didn't take that fifth one now in our previous Tarot Key when we were talking about Tarot Key number nine the Hermit we pointed out that the Hebrew letter means hand and that's the open hand and all of the lessons give you these various attributions because the hermit obviously which you will see above you to your right in tarot key number nine is giving out he's giving out of the light it's an open hand and this giving out in relation to the lance that's being held of course has to do with having developed the capacity to give in other words we carry our own light in and with us and we become the givers now in this Western occult training system the one thing that we are reminded about over and over again is that we have to project the light in order to make room for more person who doesn't give just even loses that which he has you know to him who has shall be given and to him who has not even that which he has shall be taken away well when you really have the light you become ever brighter with more light only as you learn how to give it away that is how to help hold this light for others that's one of the very important reasons we project the light here when we do our services this sunday morning you notice whenever we use the words of power the divine words of power and the words of power dealing with the messengers of the divine the archangelic forces after the chant of each one of these words of power we project the light because we're vibrating a receptivity and then we are projecting this higher light this love coming and always the light comes from the infinite remember all things begin in terms of the limitless light in accordance to Qabalah the limitless light exists before any cycle of manifestation start taking place and so this limitless light we develop the ability to be ever more receptive and ever more able to live our lives in this state of light which also means remember illumination only to the degree that we also develop the ability to give so when we project this light we are working with very powerful forces here and even when you don't know the full meaning the subconsciousness knows the meaning of archetypal symbols which include certain forms of ritual of which the projection of the light is a very vital portion so this light which the hermit has been given in the previous key and remember it has to do also with the open hand and even has to do with the attribution to the portion of the divine masculine power in the cosmos called Yod-Heh-Vah-Heh but now in this next Tarot Key Tarot Key number 10 called the Wheel of Fortune in the Hebrew letter Ka we have another meaning that must follow out of the open hand and the giving we have in kaf the closed hand so that the closed hand is very specifically attributed to this letter and therefore to the forces dealing with this key now what does that mean closed hand it has more than one meaning it has to do with something pretty literal even though we don't recognize it because if you understand something you are said to be able to you to grasp it ah yes I grasp that idea now in other words you have hold of it you know you say well let me see let me see I haven't gotten hold of it yet you haven't gotten hold of it you haven't grasped it so So understanding is dependent on a function that we automatically call grasp.

It's part of a symbolism existing deep in our being where we attempt to find words to express it. And so this idea of the closed hand, that's like a fit, it doesn't have to do with what some of these modern nonsense thinkers have attributed to the fit. This has to do with grasp. And indeed if you remember it's the ability to grasp tools that has made man what he is the ability to grasp as we do with the thumb and the forefinger is involved here our entire evolutionary ability is involved therefore with the ideas that can be interwoven with the idea that has grass as its core. Then also Dr. Case has pointed out that when we make a fit we see there's a spiral taking place between the index finger and the thumb and we see here the Wheel of Fortune symbolizing a spiral, the turning of the wheel as a spiral even though it isn't shown that way it is indicated by various of the other symbols and therefore the idea of grasp involves the also the idea of the movement because of the spiral it forms the movement of energy now this Hebrew letter is also attributed to a mode of consciousness which has been very little understood by too many aspirants and especially misunderstood by those who are too much focused perhaps in elementary metaphysics because you see the in the highlights of Tarot because there wasn't enough room the attribution was given in terms of intelligence for each of these letters or paths the attribution is given as the rewarding intelligence that's for the the Hebrew letter counts the wheel of fortune, this parakeet.

Now, the rewarding intelligence is just part of the name of this particular Hebrew letter, because remember, each of the Hebrew letters have involved in it a method of consciousness, or a state of consciousness, which expresses itself in a specialized way. So that the way it is given is in Qabalah intelligence of by intelligence always the Qabalists are trying to point out that everything is conscious everything is from mind everything works within mind and therefore a state of mind is involved in whatever occurs indeed that mind is if you want to call anything a cause mind is the cause of all things as well as being the effect of all things if you want to think of the idea of effect as being a final moment which it never is because every final moment or what seems to be a final moment begins the next series we had nine previously now we have ten two numbers a new series being started you see and yet it is the result of the previous series in the spiral so the intelligence or rewarding intelligence is only partial the Qabalists have several ideas attributed to this Hebrew letter all of which means the same thing one of the names they give it is intelligence of desirous quest now think about that for a moment intelligence of desirous quest now if you'll remember the rewarding intelligence I think you can start tying up in your mind that that which we desire That which is our quest that which we put desire into as our quest is that which becomes our reward Now sometimes we get our reward and we don't like them In fact, perhaps this is often as a matter of fact to be perfectly honest. It's all the time But and we don't realize that what we're experiencing is the result of the intelligence of desire is quest that we've been desiring we've had as our aspiration or quest or focus for the emotions certain goals and we receive these goals we don't recognize that we really have brought them into being with the intelligence with consciousness with awareness with that which we have an ability to be aware of you might say or the degree of evolutionary awareness we've achieved up to a certain point.

So this intelligence of desirous quest is a very important thing to realize as being involved here. Then it's also called, the full name for rewarding intelligence is really the rewarding intelligence of those who seek.

Now that's the full term. There again, what is it that we are rewarded with? That which we seek becomes our reward. And we don't realize it as a reward because you see we think of it as a punishment that's where we make a mistake you see that just one little sentence could take plenty of meditation because uh if the mind and the emotions have been focused on something then the reward is the experiencing of it now if we're we get the idea that if we're uncomfortable uncomfortable, then we're being punished. And if we're comfortable, we're being rewarded. But you see, this is not the way consciousness works. Truth of the matter is, we're always rewarded, and some of it is uncomfortable and painful, and some of it is very wonderful and joyous, and some have all the various grades in between or intermixtures. So that the rewarding intelligence of those who seek really involves actually being rewarded no matter what we seek being rewarded for the kind of seeking we're doing as a matter of fact you know for example if the person seeks power the reward often is being receiving the experience quite thoroughly except not the way we want it it's other people will have power over us for example we'll find out what power it but in reverse in reverse because all movement must balance itself out for the attainment of evolution and for this reason then there's another intelligence that the wise the sons of the doctrine have given this Hebrew letter and that That is, the conciliating intelligence which rewards those who seek.

Now, by conciliating, I think we should be able to see that a balancing is indicated.

Conciliation sometimes also means the coming together between two warring factions, doesn't it? Well, all factions do come together. That's what's involved here by the idea of conciliation they have to balance themselves off for the next cycle so that the experiencing whatever it is whatever it is we experience is usually at this moment the final result of previous energies that we have set in motion because of what we've been desiring how we've been desiring it what we've been questing you might say how we've been questing it and out of this we are meant we don't always but out of this we are meant to finally come to the the realization that when it is said we should do unto others as we would have others do unto us it's a very practical kind of advice very practical I think you'll see since if we're going to do unto others as we don't want done unto ourselves we're we are then bringing about about the intelligence or the expression of a conciliation where we are experiencing what we really will decide we don't want.

In other words, we don't want it because it's uncomfortable. We're still being rewarded, incidentally. But, for example, if we become like the hermit, which sooner or later we trust we shall all do, then we are automatically the givers because this has become our greatest reward we shed the light number one because we've developed the capacity to give light you know you can't give light that you have a gun you can only give light that you've got and so in having the light we also give it but we give it not because we want to get something back we give it because it becomes our nature to give and that brings in the attribution of jupiter you know in astrology for example jupiter is called the greater benefic and you might think of jupiter as being the the rewarding intelligence as most people think of reward in other words something that has to do with largesse like being like receiving a lot of something like a lot of money that's the best a lot of most people think they like to get it I hope you all get it and discover it via the conciliating intelligence that uh it didn't bring you what you really wanted not that you might not do some very nice and attractive things with it sometimes but the one thing it certainly will not have brought you is security I think that of all the people I have known in my life and I have known and been blessed with knowing an extraordinary number of children of god I think that amongst the most insecure have been those who have perhaps been the wealthiest I think that that is a pretty accurate statement I'm making and it's been fairly consistent even where it hasn't been extreme it has still been there because as we pointed out this having money cannot bring security since security is a state of heart it isn't a state of having a thing it is a state of heart therefore you can have a thing or a million things you can have millions even billions of dollars I wouldn't say that that poor poor man and I mean that literally that howard hughes has security would you having to live shrinking away from people hidden away afraid to be found a scene let's see get god knows how many uh process servers to bless him with processes you know for appearing in how many courts by how many from how many individuals suing him for how many dollars and or other things like insults if you have a lot of money people can sue you for insulting them you know you can even insult them a little more far more easily without the money not that I advise you not to have money I hope a lot of you have a lot of money because we do need a new temple and I we will just figure that you are going to be faced with a very special test in this incarnation the test of money and with our help perhaps you have a better chance of passing it you know especially if we use a little in with god well aside from this little chuckle or two then which has a real depth of meaning behind it as I know we all recognize I think just with this one example we can see that security will not be attained in that manner so when we think of Jupiter in its attributions we should be very careful not to limit the largesse of Jupiter to the money levels or security as money for example I don't know how many of you realize whenever Jupiter goes over a person's ascendant the rising sign is their immediate their physical vehicle along with their direct personality the persona one where it's for the world the basic temperament we we uh show to both ourselves and the world incidentally uh I don't know how many of you realize that if anyone has the slightest tendency to gain weight while jupiter goes over their ascendance oh that's going to be multiplied and if they want to gain weight they're going to do it much more easily when Jupiter goes over the Ascendant because certain forces are playing where largesse is involved.

So you see, it doesn't have to be money largesse. It could be getting on the scales and weighing ourselves largesse and screaming like mad, my God, look how much I weigh now. I'm going to have to go on a diet. And the minute we decide to go on a diet, we can't get our mind off of food from that moment on. It's so so more largesse we get focused and concentrated in this largesse where we run to the refrigerator fantastically more often more largesse oh when jupiter gives us largesse it goes it does it big because that's it big it's even the largest planet in the solar system isn't that interesting it's even that so you see we mustn't limit meanings at all because we build of mistaking things then we want to remember jupiter rules sagittarius which is the ninth house of the zodiac and the ninth house is the house of religion the house of philosophy the house of the higher mind the house of long journeys so some people take long journeys physically speaking others take long journeys with the mind philosophy brett you see you still have bigness you understand so you have this bigness on different levels or as the qabalists would say in all four worlds that's why in this tarot key we have a division into the four they're indicating that this force works in all four worlds and which world we use it in of course depends on us that's where man is is staggeringly powerful whether he recognizes it or not incidentally so forces will play they are there they're part of a cosmic law and jupiter's influence like all influences are always there but what level we choose to use it in will be the determining factor as to how it will express for us and that's why even on the cube of space those of you who received the lessons you've gotten that far you know each Hebrew letter and key are attributed to a certain portion of the cube of space like a direction this Hebrew letter is given the direction west and west always means the final the final outcome at this moment you know whatever this moment is so it's really the immediate now because East is the beginning and see the Sun rises in the East West as you see you can tell the Sun sets in the West so the West has to do with the finish whatever that finish is of a previous cycle again we have the movement or rotation of cycles being shown here along with with the basic idea that whatever is right now, because the West has to be the final effect that we're experiencing now since tomorrow isn't here yet, it can't be a final effect.

That's always coming. The nice thing about life and philosophy is we only realize it. There's always tomorrow for us to look forward to if we do what we ought to right now in this instant that is with the wet so that it becomes very important to use cough the west or the only thing we can do about tomorrow has to do with the wet or what is the final moment right now which we are experiencing and to realize within that framework that whatever it is we with our thinking our feeling with our desires with that which we have made our goals have set that intermotion and are now at this point of being fulfilled and you know notice even fulfilled has to do with sort of bigness doesn't it you know you're full and you have your fill beautiful word there I love the idea you know I'm a glutton on many levels fortunately it's not reserved for one level at any rate I have to have a sinner too to keep god busy with me or to keep myself busy with myself whichever way we want to and utilize it so this fulfilling level that has to do with kak or with jupiter involves then the ability or the capacity also to recognize these three different intelligences that have been assigned signs to the particular letter and key. And we can gain more insight into this and an understanding of how to utilize this key in a more positive manner along with all of the other attributions if we will look at the four fixed signs of the zodiac on the tarot key. Now you notice the eagle, the man, the bull, and the lion. Now those are the symbols for the four fixed signs of the zodiac which has more than one meaning it of course indicates a framework for the the like a cycle or the idea that the life power concentrates its own substance into a certain form a condensation called the beginning of the whirlings and that's the dot in the middle of the wheel that it's by condensation or compression or limitation that the expansion of Jupiter takes place and we've heard we've heard that before haven't we over and over again we've been trying to point out to you that it's the limitation of Saturn that really brings all expansion that only as as we apply the powers of limitation which means what of self-responsibility self-control accepting responsibilities for various things the older we are the more responsibility we're given when we are all grown up society then gives us the responsibility of our conduct all the way you know if we commit a crime when we're juveniles they They give us special dispensations.

We get punished all right, but not as extremely. But once we arrive at whatever is called the age of consent, we have taken upon ourselves certain responsibilities, and whether we have recognized it consciously or not, there are certain responsibilities we have automatically taken upon ourselves by virtue of having reached the human status, by having become human beings.

And the human being is assigned to the Aquarian sign of man, as you can see. But the four fixed signs on this Tarot key are indicating a certain framework within which this evolutionary cycle must take place. And that framework has to do with laws or rules even, so that we're being told via the six signs of the zodiac that there are certain cosmic laws or rules that we have to learn to understand, recognize, and follow if we want to experience the Jupiter level or the intelligences in their most positive sense having to do with cost.

Now, I'd like you to realize that when we give or and have given you we've done this a lot on Thursday night class the analysis of Yod-Heh-Vah-Heh as this word of power which we chant that if you will recall the Hebrew letter Yod is assigned to the fire and therefore to Leo the first hay is assigned to the eagle and the water and that's Scorpio the Vav or Vav when we chant it is assigned to the man and that's Aquarius and then the final hay is assigned to the bull and that's earth and that's Taurus which is the fixed earth sign so that these four letters are assigned to the four elements as well as to the six portions of the zodiac and they therefore are also an indication of the forces that we have available to us within the cosmos and which are meant to be ruled by man because in the symbols you see here in the key you notice the sign Aquarius that's a very important thing to notice there now in this sign Aquarius we're being given some very important information via the symbols and when we learn what they mean we're able to use them more effectively of course you see there are several symbols but Aquarius is at the bottom you have the symbol of sulfur on the right hand you have the symbol of mercury above and then you have the symbol of salt or earth to the left as you look at the symbols on the tarot key from the center out you notice where the lines cross there it's the second circle the middle circle now the other three symbols the sulfur mercury and salt are the symbols of what have been called the three principles our eastern brethren brethren have have called them the Sotlans.

And they have to do with basic elements of force before anything is even physical as well. And then the sign of Aquarius is given to the idea of dissolution. Now that's an interesting thing, dissolution. I don't know if you know this, but that sign of Aquarius is also the sign that the alchemists use for the sign of dissolution, which is one of the most important functions that we have in occult training dissolution so that we have there here the power to build to think to maintain in the other symbols and then the power to dissolve now it is man the same sign the sign of Aquarius which is assigned to man is also the sign that can dissolve and And we are told over and over again, especially in the alchemical portion of a Qabalistic training, that all attainment must depend on our ability and capacity to dissolve. All right, dissolve what? To dissolve old patterns.

In other words, you know, you've heard us say that over and over again, but I want to show it to you in the symbols and show it to you in areas where you you least think it might crop up because you see the only way you can have real largesse say the highest portions of Jupiter in your life in the ability to dissolve the energy that has gotten frozen into the old patterns into the patterns of ignorance the patterns of of selfishness, patterns of hate, patterns that have to do with all of those false desiring quests that have led us down all kinds of streams and miseries. We have to dissolve the energy that has gotten caught up. This is part of what's meant also, incidentally, by Redeemer. We redeem energy that's gotten tied up in patterns that have served their purpose. And this is the energy we have available for evolution.

Did you know that? The amount of evolution you can accomplish for yourself is dependent on your dissolution. This is everybody. This is a principle.

It is dependent on our capacity to see the necessity for dissolving nonsense, which means we have to learn how to see what is. Remember we talked about this moment. Now there are too many people who have misunderstood the entire occult teaching when we're told to think positively.

And they think that thinking positively means you look at an evil and you say, it isn't there, it isn't there, there is no evil, there is no evil. You know, there's one school of thought that does that. You've heard me mention when this man died and found himself in hell and was surprised to find a priest there who said he'd gotten there because he'd eaten fish on Friday. That's before it was decided it wasn't a sin anymore. And a minister there who got there because he played cards, you know, and that's a big sin. And they found a Jewish rabbi there because he'd eaten some pork, you know, that's unclean and forbidden. It was when he came across the Christian science practitioner and found him there and said my what are you doing there do you remember how he drew himself up straight and looked at him with great indignation what am I doing here but I'm not that's it you deny it and that finishes it I'm not yes now too many people think that that's that being positive is denying what is that jesus didn't go in for that kind of nonsense you know when the spirit led jesus up into the wilderness and the wilderness is involved with all these little animal beings there you know animal nature when jesus and that's where jesus was led into his own animal nature where else can it be led whether that's the wilderness the untamed or possibly untamed to be tempted by satan did jesus did jesus say you're not there you're not there you're not there all is good all is light we wouldn't have had that first great initiate attaining what he did Because attainment means looking and overcoming, not denying.

Jesus looked and he called the evil by all the names necessary.

As you know, he told the devil where to go in no uncertain terms.

And he said it in exactly the words that were necessary. And I can assure you his language was pungent. Don't think it wasn't. Meaningful not vulgar pungent there's a difference only people who are poverty stricken have to use vulgar terminology pungent terminology carries the real power and he also didn't hesitate did he turn his back when he saw all these money lenders in the temple and say they're not there they're not there the temple is holy the temple is beautiful they're not there no all is good all all is light. They're not there. The temple is being pure. No, he didn't. He took himself a whip and he said, you get the you-know-what out of here, you damn hypocrites.

In no uncertain terms.

So, was he denying what is? In the same way, I can assure you, my beloved ones, we are not going to dissolve the patterns in all the energy out of these patterns to redeem them become the redeemer of ourselves and therefore more light for others as well we're not going to do it by denying what is we have to be able to recognize evil and look at me I that's why you know the devil that's evil and that hebrew letter is called the eye it's the eye as the organ of vision so we have to be able to look it in the eye isn't that an interesting interaction you know where even in our figurative speech we start seeing the attributions as being so accurate given by this extraordinary miracle of training that we have this fantastic effective training so we have obviously then a need to recognize the fact that evolution our evolution requires number one certainly that we decide to take our own evolution in hand remember it is man that has to do the dissolving obviously and not only do we have to take it in hand but we take it in hand in such a way that we are willing to start seeing what is and we're not about to be determined to keep hiding from reality how are we going to overcome say if we have a tendency towards self-pity how are we going to overcome our self-pity that is then dissolve the self-pity patterns redeem the energy out of that self-pity in order to bring it into its positive polarity of conciliation remember the conciliating intelligence where we instead of self-pity we have the opposite gratitude and joy because of the fullness of life which is the positive portion of jupiter indeed how are we going to do it unless we are able to see that we have patterns of self-pity that at this end result remember the West this is the final moment of what has gone before unless we can see that here is a quality we have to change and life is so much more joyous and interesting exciting and fascinating when we keep guard when we watch when we're able to see the various is negative and say ho ho no you don't grab capture grab it up in the net no you're not going to go running away with me you have something to do all the time you can never get bored so this is what you call real largesse because the greatest poverty there is is boredom that's the greatest poverty and you as you can see because a person who is bored is empty and if you're empty you're empty isn't that poverty now the greatest riches is being full there you have your Jupiter no matter what you're full of that's your riches whether you're full of air that the weather of a temperature that's too high or whatever so but the point is we do we have you know Jupiter is also very jovial laughter you notice how happily we're in the spirit of the jovial positive aspects of Jupiter how delightfully we are chuckling you see we're really using the devil mirth you you know to help look at things honestly see them for what they are the best way to dissolve the evil that exists in ourselves is through laughter of course but we have to remain attentive in other words when we start seeing things in their proper perspective and learning how to laugh at them is because we're not taking ourselves so seriously in the levels where we shouldn't because you see when we're forever being hurt which we are when we are taking our personality levels too seriously because we're not being humorous about those portions of ourselves that need work and the best way we can work on them is to see that they're things that are going to have to get dissolved and to the degree that we do this we develop a broader philosophical base in relation to conditions, situations situations, people, and what could be more rich than that. Our philosophy of life, really, which you remember has to do with the ninth house that Jupiter rules, our philosophy of life is what gives us our true riches or not in whatever degrees in whatever areas. And no security can even remotely develop in our minds, in our hearts, in our lives, in any area, as long as we are not going to be working at developing this security of self-being in other words the security of our own individuality as being the child of God the security of knowing that the best thing on earth can happen to us is to be hungry the path of desirous quest because only then shall we hunger no more it's one of these strange pairs of opposites you know wasn't it wasn't it glorious that reading our cal gave us from mosiah I tell you that was that was so fantastically accurate in terms of this tarot key and hebrew letters this is just stupendous shows again how the qabalists are behind the bible and of course there's no understanding the bible at all without qabalah as you surely fully realized by now since it's the Qabalists who wrote them. So this idea of desire is quest. Do you know what the greatest hell and poverty is? The greatest hell and the greatest poverty is not having a goal. You know we pointed out what is boredom is emptiness. When we have a goal our minds and our hearts are focus this is richness and everyone who's really watched and analyzed it discovered it isn't the attaining of the goal that gives us our joy it is the quest haven't you noticed that when you finally have a thing finished that's marvelous but then what are you going to do with yourself unless you go ahead and get yourself a new goal it's while you're working on the goal if you're full of the magic while you're creating this is the magic the glory the rapture it's while you're writing the poem while you're making that dress while you're building that house while you're playing or that song or composing it for singing if the magic is after that you can't just sit around because then that's dead if you just sit around and say oh I got it I got it yes I got it yesterday or last year I got what I wanted so what's going to happen to you now can life stop no it can't you've got to keep in a movement and to keep building the largesse of the consciousness so the path of desire's quest is the secret behind security and the secret behind riches we are rich to the degree that we hunger blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness said that greatest initiate of all blessed are they that and that was at this time and by that hunger and thirst after righteousness now please remember righteousness in other words we have to hunger and thirst to be loving, kind, faithful, responsible. We have to hunger and thirst to the degree that we're going to do things to dissolve the energy out of those portions in our nature which are not. And the greatest state of grace we can be in, the grace of God, is being in a state of hungering and thirsting after righteousness. There's nothing in the universe that is more filled with wealth than that state of being we want to be hungering and thirsting after God and if we've got God we should say not enough I want more more of you because how whatever amount there has to be more that's what I meant about being a gotten anyway although you know you have it in one area you're apt to have it another good rationalization so if I wanted to use it so you see if you analyze your life you will recognize and you will see for yourself that this is the heaven of heaven that we sometimes go through periods where we're not able to desire to have that intelligence of desirous quest you know where somehow we are in like a vacuum a dark vacuum perhaps we've all been through it to some degree perhaps in larger do you know that is what the real dark night of the soul when you're not able to aspire poverty emptiness that's it when you're not able to aspire you are poorer than poor and all of us surely have gone through such periods when we're not able to feel our feelings when that happens to us then we feel that we have really lost something marvelous and great and it is then that we realize that if we must pray at all in the way people think prayers should be exercised or expressed we should really finally have one prayer say God help me to hunger and thirst after righteousness and you that's it just help me to keep hungering and thirsting after righteousness that is self dissolution of that which requires it and you and when we have that we have everything and we do have everything now I also I'd like to point out another aspect here you notice on top of the wheel we have a think figure which seems part human part animal and also part the sinks of key seven uh and holding a sword now the sword is a very very important symbol in the cabalistic system and it means more than one thing and all of them uh interact or are interrelated for one thing the Hebrew letter Zion which is with Tarot key number six is called the sword see the you see now there you see the lovers and we can see here a pair of opposites involved which we've been talking about the conciliating intelligence but we there's Jupiter in its sphere of activity activity on the qabalistic tree of life is the movement of that quality of consciousness for the whole universe as well as for each and every one of us as parts of it so that the force of the inner jupiter is connected to the movement of the sphere of the activity of jupiter as a quality of mercy now what that means there is more than one meaning of course remember the masters of of compassion have attained to that Sephirah called mercy or the sphere of activity of jupiter and masters of compassion are masters of compassion because the path or intelligence of desire's quest between remember desire victory and mercy is functioning in them all the time they are masters of compassion because again the higher mind is assigned to mercy to mercy they always in a higher mind have the memory and the recollection of all the sorrows they've gone through the gone through in the past all the disappointments all the hard work so that they know they are able to do what and they have are already doing what the hermit is doing the hermit is a master of compassion you see and standing on that height bringing in the the light so uh the master of compassion is there shedding light out of the lantern all the time towards us in our desire nature via this path if we open ourselves to it and indeed everything that happens to us is also as I was pointing out the reward because mercy where the masters of compassion are also it that's called the measuring intelligence and you might say what you measure out unto others it shall be measured to you again you remember that what you meet out unto others there you see where the greater teachers keep telling us that measurement of life measurement of quality measurement of beingness measurement of experience comes to us in terms of the depth you know if we're shallow it's understandable we're going to have shallow experience no depth we can't have a vastness and breadth of being but we make our vastness and breadth of being with the energy the self same energy all of that energy is here it's in us we make that vastness that breadth that fulfillment that riches that security via the very same things that right now make us feel bound and miserable by dissolving the patterns that keep us miserable ignorant and releasing them in the path of desire's quest feeling rich and saying thank you god thank you god for keeping me desiring thee thank you god for helping me to see what I need to see in order to have more love more awareness more consciousness more beauty help me to let you experience all the vastness and depth and height because thou art the all and what's a greater expansion than that and I yearn I aspire to be experiencing consciously this all this beauty this vastness and incidentally my love this is inevitably and inexorably your destiny walk with that joy and work for it even while you're joyous in it.
